Kopi Tasik Introduces a Coffee Concept Near a Tourist Area

The presence of Kopi Tasik in the Kambang Iwak tourist area has attracted strong public interest. Since officially opening on March 27, 2025, the café has continued to make improvements to enhance visitor comfort.

Kopi Tasik Supervisor, Ayu Nova Wahyuni, said several renovations have been completed, including transforming the outdoor area into an indoor space for greater comfort. The café now also provides a VIP room for special events.

“Initially, the concept was mostly outdoor, but we have now converted it into an indoor space. We also have a VIP room for guests who prefer more privacy,” she explained.

In addition to serving a variety of coffee beverages, Kopi Tasik offers an all-you-can-eat breakfast starting from Rp25,000, as well as a range of à la carte dishes suitable for families.

During Ramadan, Kopi Tasik provides a special iftar package priced at Rp75,000 net per person. The package includes a main course, assorted snacks, and drinks.

“For Rp75,000, the iftar package is complete, so guests can simply come and enjoy,” Ayu added.

In terms of customers, Ayu revealed that most visitors come from Gen Z and middle-aged men. Interestingly, each group has different beverage preferences.

“Middle-aged men usually order Americano. Gen Z tends to prefer creamy latte or palm sugar milk coffee,” she said.

Its strategic location near hotels and tourist attractions has had a positive impact. When hotel occupancy is high, many guests choose to have breakfast and coffee at Kopi Tasik. Visitors who exercise in the morning or evening also frequently stop by.

Peak hours are typically during breakfast time and late afternoon into the evening. Kopi Tasik operates from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. WIB.

To create a warm atmosphere, live music is performed daily except Sunday, featuring four different talents who rotate from Monday to Saturday.

From a culinary perspective, the best-selling menu item is nasi tempong, which has its own distinctive touch compared to other places.

“Our nasi tempong is different. It comes with plenty of fresh vegetables, and the rice is topped with furikake for extra savory flavor. The side dishes are also varied, including butter chicken, fried chicken, catfish, duck, and shrimp,” Ayu explained.

For beverages, creamy latte is the customer favorite, offering a balanced and creamier blend of coffee, milk, and palm sugar.

Looking ahead, management hopes Kopi Tasik will become more widely recognized and a favorite coffee destination, especially among young people.

Besides being a hangout spot, Kopi Tasik can also host gatherings, reunions, social events, and birthday parties. The indoor space can accommodate around 100 people.

“We hope Kopi Tasik becomes even busier, increases its revenue, and gains wider recognition,” Ayu concluded.
